Feature

Excellent wear resistance: High carbon content combined with alloy elements such as chromium and molybdenum can form fine carbides after heat treatment, with a surface hardness of HRC58-62 and excellent wear resistance.
Good hardenability: The addition of chromium element enhances the hardenability of steel, making it suitable for manufacturing large-sized mold parts and ensuring uniform hardness of the cross-section.
Higher toughness: Compared to high carbon and high chromium steel, it has better toughness and can reduce the risk of mold cracking under impact loads.
Good processing performance: Low hardness in annealed state, easy to cut, grind and other processing, suitable for making molds with complex shapes.

Application

Cold work molds: commonly used for manufacturing cold stamping molds, cold heading molds, shearing molds, bending molds, etc., especially suitable for cold forming molds for processing thick steel plates or high-strength metal materials.
Precision tools: can be used to make precision tools such as taps, screwdrivers, gauges, etc., utilizing their good dimensional stability and wear resistance.
Wear resistant parts: can also be used to manufacture mechanical parts that withstand frictional wear, such as cold rolling rolls, bearing rings, etc.
